Britney To Perform In Abu Dhabi In November

All speculation over the star-studded Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix line-up has been put to rest, with the final, confirmed roster throwing up names of Sir Paul McCartney, Britney Spears, Incubus, The Cult, Wyclef Jean, Jay Sean and Fatboy Slim.

Arguably the biggest sporting event of the country, the Yas Marina races, which run from November 11 until 13, have always promised enough action on and off the circuit.

In the past, the celebrity concert line-up has included names such as that of Beyonce, Kanye West, Aerosmith, Kings of Leon and several more.

Speaking to 'Emirates24|7', organisers Flash Entertainment spokesperson Shatha Al Romaithi said : "We have chosen such a varied bunch of artists to cater to the cosmopolitan crowd that resides in Abu Dhabi."

She added: "Yasalam considerably adds to the emirate's economy and is considered as the biggest money making event of the year."

Kicking off the spate of concerts will be Spears on November 11, followed by the American Rock Band Incubus and the British Rock Band - The Cult - on day two and the event concluding with the former Beatle, Sir McCartney.

Tickets for, what are expected to be sell-out performances, are already on sale as part of the F1 race package. However, Flash Entertainment is also handing out 10,000 invitations to the Spears concert after you register on the website yasalan.ae.

Britney Armed And Dangerous On "Criminal" Set

Britney Spears has landed in London and she's taking the city by storm.

Since arriving in the U.K., the singer has been hard at work on the set of her "Criminal" music video, according to photos that hit the Web. The pics reveal there will be a cameo from a super special guy in her life.

In one photograph, a smiling Spears holds a gun as she leaves a convenience store with her real-life boyfriend Jason Trawick behind her. Other photos show Spears inside the store tucking the gun in the waistband of her pants, and Trawick carrying groceries and pulling Brit by the arm.

In a chat with AOL, the pop star explained that it was her idea to shoot the clip in London. "I'm shooting a video [and] I've never shot on location out of the country of America for a video," she said. "So, it should be very interesting. It was partly my idea ... to see if it could to happen, and they were like, 'Yeah, it's a great idea,' so we did it."

The Femme Fatale singer also opened up about her busy career, including the European leg of her tour which kicks off this month. So, how does she stay tour-ready at all times? "Sometimes it is [a lot of work], but I genuinely love what I do and I get on a routine and a schedule to keep me motivated and inspired to have the energy I need for the show," she said. "A lot of cardio, a lot of running and just try and eat clean."

Britney added that it's all about balancing motherhood and career. "You just have to find your balance and niche in your life," she said, crediting her mom and nanny with giving her a helping hand. "It's a process you learn to figure out."

Britney To Shoot "Criminal" Video In England

Britney Spears recently shared on Twitter that she plans to shoot her video for "Criminal" in England.

Spears has promised that the video will be eye-catching. "Actually, the song, when I first heard it, it's really different and it's not anything I've heard like this before. So I really wanted to deliver this song. I was thinking of a really cool concept for the video just to make it interesting," she told us last month. "You'll have to see."

As for the location of the shoot, Spears gushed about it on Twitter. "So excited to stop over in the UK before I start my European tour in a few weeks," she wrote. "Can't wait! I LOVE London, it's like my second home. Decided to shoot the 'Criminal' video in the streets of merry old England when I get there."

As Spears gears up for the release of "Criminal," she's also got a few other projects in the works, including a remix album due out next month and a concert special set to air on Epix. The just-released trailer for the special, set to air in November, uses concert footage from her Femme Fatale Tour, which Brit is gearing up to take to Europe later this month.

Britney Sets New Record With "I Wanna Go"

In a format known for its rapid-fire artist turnover and constant search for the next sonic fad, Britney Spears' sustained success at pop radio has reached new heights.

Spears claims the mark for the longest span of No. 1s on Billboard's Pop Songs chart, as "I Wanna Go" rises 2-1 on the Nielsen BDS-based mainstream top 40 radio airplay tally.

Spears scored the first of her six No. 1s on the chart the week of Feb. 20, 1999, with "...Baby One More Time." With this week's listing dated Sept. 24, she extends her stretch of leading the list to a record 12 years, seven months and four days.

As the Pop Songs chart launched the week of Oct. 3, 1992, it post-dates the arrivals of such stars as Madonna and Mariah Carey. Had the survey existed from the inception of those luminaries' careers, it's likely that they, too, would have led the list over comparable decade-plus spans. Madonna first materialized at pop radio in 1983 and last led Pop Songs in 1995. Carey released her debut smash "Vision of Love" in 1990 and most recently reached the Pop Songs summit in 2005.

"Over the last 10 or more years, Britney Spears has had her ups and downs," said MoJoe Roberts, program director of Pop Songs panelist KHOP (@95-1)/Modesto, Calif., earlier this year. "But, every time she drops new music, it is an event for the format."

True enough, Spears tallied her first two Pop Songs toppers in 1999-2000. Then, she reigned just once until 2009.

Up, down and up again.

Here is a recap of Spears' six Pop Songs No. 1s:

Title, Date reached No. 1, Weeks at No. 1
"...Baby One More Time," Feb. 20, 1999, five
"Oops!...I Did It Again," June 10, 2000, three
"Toxic," March 20, 2004, four
"Womanizer," Jan. 3, 2009, two
"Circus," March 7, 2009, one
"I Wanna Go," Sept. 24, 2011, one (to-date)

In the chart's history, Spears is now tied with Carey and Beyonce for the third-highest No. 1 sum. Rihanna rules with eight leaders, followed by Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and P!nk, each with seven.

"I Wanna Go" marks Spears' first Pop Songs No. 1 from her seventh studio album, "Femme Fatale," after two close calls: lead single "Hold It Against Me" reached No. 3 and follow-up "Till the World Ends" peaked at No. 4.

On the Billboard Hot 100 (which, unlike the more narrowly-focused Pop Songs chart, incorporates airplay on approximately 1,200 stations of various formats, as well as digital sales figures and streaming data), "I Wanna Go" peaked at No. 7 last month. As "Hold It Against Me" peaked at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and "Till The World Ends," No. 3, "Femme Fatale" marks Spears' first album to generate three Hot 100 top 10s.

"I Wanna Go" has shifted 1.1 million downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Femme Fatale" debuted atop the Billboard 200 the week of April 16 and has sold 666,000 copies.

All charts, including Pop Songs, the Hot 100 and the Billboard 200, will be refreshed Thursday (Sept. 15) on Billboard.com.

B In The Mix: The Remixes Vol. 2

Six years after the singles from Britney Spears' first four albums were reworked for "B In The Mix: The Remixes," the pop princess has collected recent remixes by Tiesto, Kaskade, Benny Benassi and others for "B In The Mix: The Remixes Vol. 2." Due out Oct. 11, the 10-song album features new versions of tracks from 2007's "Blackout," 2008's "Circus" and "Femme Fatale," which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last March.

"Exciting news tweeps... new remix album is coming out on 10/11!" Spears announced on Twitter on Friday (Sept. 9). "Pumped for you to hear these tracks - I love them."

Among the album highlights are Manhattan Clique's club remix of "3," Gareth Emery's take on "I Wanna Go," Tiesto's club mix of "Piece of Me," and Alex Suarez's reworking of "Till the World Ends." The album art finds Spears striking a seductive pose in front of a pair of butterfly wings.

2005's "B In The Mix: The Remixes," which featured club-ready versions of "Toxic," "Me Against the Music" and "I'm a Slave 4 U," among others, has sold 119,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Vol. 2" will be released in the middle of the European leg of Spears' Femme Fatale tour, which resumes Sept. 22 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Track list:

1. Criminal (Radio Mix)
2. Gimme More (Kaskade Club Mix)
3. Piece Of Me (Tiësto Club Mix)
